I noticed today that my Russian's nails got really long! It's been in the triple digits here, so she has been in her burrow most of the day. I took her out to soak and they looked like they grew a lot. She hasn't been walking around backyard a lot so maybe that's why. Do I leave them?

Well I'm not an expert on this and some one please correct me if I'm wrong. But you can get a couple cuttle bones or some pavers and put them in the enclosure and maybe hopfully he will start using them.

I leave mine. They always seem to wear them down eventually. They are not difficult to trim if it bothers you but I've never found it necessary.
