Name Change

Hey everyone just wanted to let you know that were making a name change.

Since Moose is a girl and not a boy like we thought were changing the name. Her name is now Athena. Its a little more fitting .

We had to change our desert turtles name too. Thought he was a mertle for years. Now we know she is a he. New name Mert!

Yea it threw us for a loop we have had her for two years. Cant trust petco employees.

One of our members on here has a huge male sulcata named Shirley. I think its kinda' cute to give strange names to tortoises.

Why change it...Moose is a great name for a Tort. Why blame Petco? Sex isn't usually determined in RF's until they are adults. Sometimes you can tell by the tail, but not always. Just saying...but I am no expert...

Yea it is, after trying her new name out its a pain because were use to moose. I think we might just keep it that way. Moose it is!
