It's a Diamondback Terrapin, Malaclemmys terrapin. There are several subspecies and locale variations found up and down the east coast. They are adapted to live in brackish water.
It looks like a concentric phase Diamondback, Malaclemmys terrapin centrata. The concentrics are a bit more expensive, usually around $250 or more. The concentrics hatch out of the same batches as normal centratas, but are much rarer.
