Never heard of this one, but do a search for Redfoot Ranch to see what has been said about them previously.
Tortoises should never be kept in pairs. Groups can sometimes work, but not pairs. Best to get just one. If you want more than one, then get at least three. Or buy two but house them separately. A reputable seller won't sell you a pair unless they think you already have one or more, or you tell them you are going to house them separately.
Also, care info for this species tends to be all over the place, and most of it is simply wrong. It can be frustrating with all the contradictory info. Here is a good care sheet:
NOTE: I do not keep redfoots, and I only have one tortoise in total. With this in mind, remember that I am in no way an expert, and this should not be used as cold hard proof of how to raise a redfoot. I used information from great keepers on this forum to put everything together. This care...

Here is a short list of the high points in case you don't feel like reading:
1. You need a large closed chamber. Open topped tables cannot maintain the correct temps and humidity.
2. They don't need a basking lamp.
3. Use a thermostat hooked up to a CHE or RHP to maintain the correct temperatures.
4. They need high humidity, but dry substrate to prevent shell rot on the plastron. This is easily accomplished with a four inch layer of fine grade orchid bark which can be kept damp in the lower layers.
5. You don't need a humidifier, and too much spraying will cause shell rot.
