I don't know, but I don't think you need to worry about too much growth. Maybe someone else on the forum will address the pink line. Sometimes there is a pinkish growth line on the bottom shell and that is not a problem.

Yeah it seems fine and I looked into it some more just to clarify that he is fine. I also noticed the pink lines on his plastron like you said, so he is fine and growing .

Also I plan on cleaning his enclosure very soon, because it is about that time. And the part of the enclosue where he sleeps (also where I mist him) is getting a little moldy. My local pet store sells ecoearth, which I heard is used in a mixture to keep humidity. Is it just dirt and ecoearth? or should I opt for something else
