Long story short, a friend found this baby turtle or tortoise in her new, tall, raised garden bed... no way it climbed in there so guessing it either came in her purchased soil or got dropped by a predator from above? I told her I’d look after the lil guy but not sure what species it might be... any clues? It’s only about an inch big.

Ehh, Reeves would have 3 keels down the shell instead of just the center keel.

The only two look-alikes, to my eye, would be a baby european pond turtle or blanding's turtle. But neither of those is local, so going with occam's razor here.
