need help identifying tortoise (pictures enclosed)

I also have a desert... Thats a Russian tortoise. I have 6 Russians- 4 female & 2 male, 2 female sulcata's, and a desert. Not too mention 3 box turtles .

Thanks for all the replies... No doubt she must be a Russian! So weird, because I took her to a vet who is an owner of Desert tortoises. He said not a Russian but a Desert.

she is a adult.. not a youngster...
the first time i saw a russian... a stray.. i thought it was a young Desert tort.. then I did some research... found how cool sulcatas were and have 4! learned A LOT being here...

Yes, that is a female Russian tortoise, and happily, she does appear to be in very good condition.

Also, if you accept the subspecies classification for this species, you have the Kazakh subspecies (Testudo horsfieldi kazachstanica), which appears to be the most commonly encountered here in the pet trade.
