Hi everyone, I have two hermann tortoise and one of them I recently got and she's a tiny little baby. She always burrow under the dirt and sleep. My question is, is that bad for them to sleep under the dirt? Btw both of them do that, I assume it's normal but I want to make sure.
Thanks everyone

My russian almost always digs in at night and her temps are perfect. As long as you know your temps are good and you are not using a coil bulb you should be fine.

My Hermann's has ALWAYS preferred sleeping buried in her substrate instead of sleeping in the hides I buy her!

Nope. That's perfectly normal.
