Hello. We have 2 sulcata tortoises and could use help boarding them. We are moving to the Nevada city/grass valley area in a few months. We will be without a home during the changeover. They are big. Money is not a problem. They are family but need to be safe for this move.

Welcome!

That's going to be tough. Not too many folks have enough extra room to care for two large tortoises in the winter.

I know. But people must have stalls right? Some heat, bingo. They mostly sleep in winter.

Hello, and a very warm welcome to Tortoise Forum. :)
Very difficult to suggest anyone, I'm afraid.
Good luck, hopefully someone can help out.

Wish you the best of luck finding suitable winter accommodation for them.
I would keep them for you here in Jamaica...if they were allowed by our Government to be imported temporarily...NOT likely.

some people who were moving boarded a sulcata at a kennel near me for a few months. I don't know if it got optimum care though.
