Today my son Nathan noticed that Fernando was making noises when he was breathing. Yep, bubbles from his nose. I do have Baytril that Walter (his previous owner) had given to me when he had taken Fernando to see Dr. Greek for his last infection. The date prescribed is 2-2-10 and there's no expiration date for the Baytril. I gave him a dose anyway because of the bubbles coming from his nose. Shouldn't there be an expiration date for this kind of medicine and if so what would it be? That's my first question. My second question is does anyone have any pictures of the proper way to hold his head when I give him the dosage? I kind of know how and I think that I did it right, but I don't want to hurt him when I'm doing it. He actually took the medicine quite well this morning so I think I'm doing it right just want to make sure. Any other suggestions to clear this up would be appreciated. I did bring in the tub enclosure so that I can start putting him under some heat. Thanks. One more question.....Are Jasmine plants o.k. plants to have around Desert Tortoises?
