After wanting a leopard for years just not being practical with pregnancies and babies, we finally got one. Would like to introduce Dottie to you all. We obtained her from a breeder on this site. I’ve done research and think we got everything right. We got a water tank from Tractor Supply. Hubby drilled some holes on sides for me to fit an old shower rod through. She has UV light strip with reptisun, a basking area and 2 CHE’s connected to regulators. Whole project was family done. My 3 and 5 yr old daughters helped collect river rocks and place hides and plants. My son worked on his wood working skills and cut plywood in oval shape and painted it for us. My hubby made peek a boo window for plexiglass. Overall we are happy with how enclosure came out and Dottie seems to love it. She had been super active and eats like a beast!!

Looks great, both tort and enclosure. Love how everyone took part in building the torts home.
Can you show a better pic of how you enclosed the enclosure please.
So many don't know how or what too do. In fact a pic taken just a little further away to show the whole enclosure would help too. Thanks.

And if you have a cat in the house, it might be a good idea to figure out a way to attach the lid so a cat can't knock it away.

I really like what you did there. And the tortoise looks happy

All lights are hanging inside water tank on a shower rod either tied at top or secured with a metal chain. We purchased a full sheet of plywood, and cut using a jigsaw the oval shape of water tank. We made a peek a boo window with plexiglass and securely glued with silicone. So with plywood on top whole enclosure is enclosed keeping humidity and heat perfect with lights hanging inside.
