New custom enclosure

Built my Redfoot (cherry head?!) Her own Tortoise table as the one she came with was moldy ? (previous owners didnt take care of her) shes finally moved in!!! It even has a waterfall and a 2nd floor loft which is in the making I've just been busy and my Dad has been working he helps me. She has fake and live plants and I'm so proud and last night during her soak I noticed she is finally getting growth spots around her scutes!!! She had no signs of new growth when I got her. One proud tort Granny today ???

That's a beautiful enclosure! Just gorgeous! So many places to hide. Keep an eye out for nibbling on flowers, real or fake.
Can I come and spend the weekend? I want to curl up under a flower...

Flowers are all fake but shes had fake flowers since shes been with me for over a month and never any nibbles but she has real succulents and a lettuce trio which only ended up regrowing to be just one kind of lettuce and she loves it! Thank you ? I am going to get another red foot on Wednesday ? I decided I have room for 2 and so much love to give I just couldn't pass another one up!

The fakes are in pots and the live succulents and lettuce are just readily available

Uh oh! Do you know tortoises should never be kept in pairs? One will bully the other, and they will both be miserable.

Torts are solitary animals in nature. In captivity, they see each other as invaders of their territory, and something to be driven away. They will engage in behaviors we think are cute, but they are not. Like following each other = chasing. Sleeping together is trying to keep the good spot for himself. Eating together is trying to keep the other tort from getting any food. After a while, it will change to biting and fighting. The weaker of the two will stop eating, become ill, and die.

This holds true for all species. Some are worse than others.

With redfoot, you might be able to get by OK with 3, but it has to be 1 male with 2 female.

Of course, if you build a separate enclosure, there's no problem. But 2 in one enclosure is a disaster.

Oh i know all about it. I've done so much research its crazy for years before I finally got my girl. I have lots of room and built a whole other enclosure! Thank you though
