Hello everyone, just wanted to say hello and post our new enclosure. The enclosure is made by Zen Habitats, the dimension are 48" x 24" x 16". I've used the search feature but was unable to find anyone on this forum that uses this setup so here is ours. It is pretty light weight and the panels are made of PVC and the frame made of aluminum. My daughter wanted a tortoise so after doing some extensive research I was able to obtain an Eastern Hermanns through a reputable breeder on Morph Market. I know it's kinda bare but we are searching for plants and platforms to add enrichment. Before anyone starts flaming me about the lighting...hahaha, our 48" Arcadia ProT5 fixture and 12% UV-B lamp along with their 100w heat lamp are arriving tomorrow. Thanks to this forum, I was able to obtain all the information I needed to raise a healthy and happy tortoise. Little "Herman" is thriving, he or she is eats, poops, basks, and sleeps like a champ. Enjoy.

***UPDATE***

Hey guys, just an update. I set the Arcadia 48" T5 UVB fixure, Arcadia basking bulb, and added some artificial plants. I watched Herman closely to see if he/she would consume it. Herman took a few exploratory bites but then lost interest. The leaves are plastic so they are really tough, I tried pulling on them myself to test them. Still a work in progress, been throwing around an idea of building a platform with a ramp leading up to it, of course it wouldn't be very tall, we will see. Anyways, enjoy.

The enclosure came with an optional acrylic top cover to help control the temp and humidity. I cut the acrylic in half so the UVB light would not be obstructed. It also came with two acrylic sliding front doors to make it a fully sealed enclosure. Maybe during the colder months I'll put those doors on.

you should put in the sliding doors to increase your humidity. Babies need high humidity ?
