My name is Albert and I live in the suburbs of New Orleans, Louisiana.

I am new to the forum, as well as to tortoises. About two months ago I received my amazing sulcata hatchling. His name is Charles.

Hi and welcome! What cause you to decide you needed a tortoise in your life and why a sulcata?

I was looking into getting a pet for quite a while. I used to always keep reptiles and amphibians, and after some research I became really interested in tortoises. I chose a sulcata because of the great personality they seem to have.
