I think there is a turtle forum site. Not totally sure.

Wouldn't a new domain have to be purchased and set up, etc?

Changing the site name isn't as simple as it sounds
- tortoiseandturtleforum.net is a very long URL to type... it's hard enough as it is.
- Behind the scenes messing around with URLs causes no end of problems with search engines and external links.
For Josh's sanity alone, I vote leave it exactly as it is!

I originally found this site by accident during a search for tortoises. Turtles and tortoises pop up in the search.
I like it just the way it is. It's not like we don't except turtle owners and we don't just refer them to a turtle forum. We try to help them just as we do tortoise owners.
There already is a turtleforum.org
I don't think we've had any members turned off by the tortoise name. We still get quite a few turtle threads.
