Hi I've had Floki a baby Russian for a month now, how often should I be soaking him? There is a lot of conflicting advice out there.

Also how much should he be eating. He's about 6cms long

Put the food down in the morning. If it's all gone in the evening it wasn't enough. If there's some left it was.

Thanks. It's difficult to know if your doing it right. There's a lot of info around but not always the same advice. He lost weight to begin with but has put it back on now. He doesn't eat a lot I just keep trying different things.

Hi @Floki1 and a very warm welcome to the forum.

Personally, I soak Oli each and every day, due to the fact that here (in Jordan), the climate is extremely dry.

Please post pics of your tort and his enclosure.
