Shawn, I made my first tort table out of plywood, and 12 inch high boards that I sealed with polyurathan then covered with a tarp. Worked out fine it was big and heavy though and I had it set up on 5 Cinderblocks in my living Room it was a 5x5 foot square-hard to reach from one side to the other. Now I have dedicated a room to my torts and I bought a three tier display table and made sides for it and now have several torts housed in it. Again it is big and takes up lots of room. Lamps are on stands. The size for a adult Greek should be no smaller than 4 feet by 2 feet. But I feel bigger if you can.
Here are some sites that show some tables. Look at our enclosure section to see what others have made to get some ideas. I chose a spot and made the table to fit.

I have a tort table. I made it with 18 in. high walls (about 6-8 in. of substrate), and mine is 5.5 ft by 1.5 ft approximately, as it is custom to a buffet cabinet in the dining room. Pine wood that is sealed with water based polyeurethane and a shower pan liner before I put in substrate. We used finishing nails that are tapped in, and brackets for added structural support. As big as you can make it is awesome. If he was growing much more I'd say to expand it as he grows but it looks like you'll be fine. I made the wall a little taller than some do as Russian are known to climb an I didn't want to worry about him climbing on cage furnishing are getting out once he's bigger.
