Decided to build a pond for my water turtles the other day. It's coming along pretty nicely. About 6 feet long, about 3 feet wide aroung 24 inches deep at the deep side and 12 inches on the shallow.

I'm building the walls around it now. Hopefully I will finish that today and then install the liners.

Now, my friend says I should build a ramp out with dirt on the step up before I line it. Sounds like a good idea

Getting really close to being done. Finished the rocks in the shallow end and it's looking pretty good.

Great job Mike ! .....What kind of filter are you going to be using? ...I have tried many on the market and the UV are by far the best ...although spendy , but well worth it . Since we are neighbors I have some " secrete spots" to add some natural critters to your set up .....give me a buzz ~ .... would it be intrusive to share some my ponds and set ups from the past here ?

JD~:)
