I have one female russian tortoise and im thinking about getting another one. Ive heard males bully females and their should be more females than males. So should i get another female instead of a male? Because I would like to get a male.

Females can be bullies, plus russians as a rule are very territorial. My best advice is get another if you like, but separate, or a very large outdoor enclosure, I still separate mine even outside.

Ok so if i get another female i should still keep them seperate?

So is there supose to be more females than males or more males than females?

You can keep two females together but it depends on how big their enclosure is. There should always be more females than males. A 1.3 ratio is an ideal setup for russians.

If you want to keep them together, you want a male to female ratio of at least 1.2, more the better.

Yes, too small for more than one.
Some people have good luck mixing them, but even then, it is in larger outside enclosures. (See Kristina's recent post). But a lot of Russians just do better alone.
Inside in tort tables, it can get more dicey, simply because of the smaller enclosure size; they just can't get away from each other.
They don't mind being alone one bit.

My 3 do fine together. 1.2 in the group. But I'm able to keep them outside with lots of space, which has a lot to do with it.
