new substrate in my enclosure!

well, i recently re did my enclosures substrate and i mixed 50/50 of sand and eco earth and they seem to love it! they are constantly moving around and seeing whats new! i wanted to show you guys what ive done so here it is!:D now i just need to expand my enclosure and it should be perfect!

Make sure and keep it most, and maybe the little guy won't have to deal with the pyramiding the big guy has.

i used eco earth and play sand.. i mixed it in a bin and i think it came out pretty even. i mist them everyday so theres humidity somewhat for them. i need to get something bigger and higher for them so it can keep in heat more

Are those sulcatas?

What do you feed them besides romaine dusted w/ calcium??

It looks like endive to me. Endive is perfectly fine!

yes its endive. i dont feed any of my tortoise romaine lettuce since its not good for them. i dust there food once every week. i try to keep them healthy and fed the best types of foods for them. im trying to get my sulcatas to eat grasses but they are very stubborn lol

Hi...Mine didn't eat grasses very well when they were still inside, but gobbled it up when I put them in their outdoor corral that is planted with a mixture of grasses and weeds. I guess they want it totolly fresh!
