New sulcata owner here! And new member

Hello everyone. Names Dustin. 25 I live in VA. I got my first sulcata Friday. There's no where local to get one so I ordered it from tortoisetown. He/she is very active and eating pretty well munching on mazuri and some greens. The cage it's in is a small animal cage. I need something with a cage around it because we have 2 cats. And the love the bearded dragon.(we also have 3 huskies) It's 48Lx25Wx18H I also used cheap dollar tree drop cloth(thin Plastic) to hold the heat and humidity in.and as for lighting it's a 60 watt bulb in a clamp lamp and a exo Terra 10.0 Uvb 18 inch tube light. My dad has a 10 year old sulcata with a little pyramiding so I want to try my best to avoid it. Anyways here's my temp baby setup. Pretty boring for now as I don't want him or her to flip over.

He’s adorable and welcome. You might wanna ditch the clamp lamp inevitably they fall and pose both a fire, and burn/crush right. You can get a stand to hang the dome or build your own super cheap!!

Congrats on your new addition - they grow up fast! I love the babies...

Our Sulcata quickly outgrew every enclosure. I don't think he notices the cats anymore, if ever, but they notice him. Only exception is Bear - Bear is Chuck Norris and Chuck doesn't move for anyone...
