Hi, I got my first tortoises yesterday and they are 2 11 month old redfoots. They live in an open topped 4x2ft cement mixing tub with a MVB, heat mat, 4 live plants, 3 hides at 80-90% humidity and a soil, cypress mulch and orchid bark substrate.

Welcome your pets are great! I hate to say it but you are going to find that the redfoots can't be kept together. One will become dominant sometimes in very subtle ways. The other will suffer from stress and not do well. Sorry for the bad news. But your list is impressive.

Hi, thanks for the compliment. I already know that they aren't the best in pairs but I plan on getting another or a couple more to balance things out as I have heard that they do good in groups. Thanks for taking the time to help me though.
