Good Afternoon everyone,

I am very excited to be here. My name is Stasia and I live in Indiana. We recently added to our family with a baby Greek Tortoise. He (not sure of gender) is about 2 inches long and is named Dash. My son named him after The Incredible and I just loved the contradiction. I will be posting a couple questions shortly. I did a lot of research before we added him to our family but I do not want to mess anything up so it is nice to have somewhere to turn.

I look forward to chatting with others and seeing cute pics of everyone's babies.

Stasia

Thank you :) how did you put a profile picture up?
Once you sign in then click your username at the top and then you should see Personal Details click on that and click choose file.

He Stasia, and welcome!

That's a nice-sized enclosure for Dash. I'd like to suggest you trade off that red light and get a Ceramic Heat Emitter (CHE) instead. The CHE provides heat without light, and the red light gives SOME tortoises the idea that red substrate is good to eat.
