My name is David. I have lived in Texas all my life. I've kept herps for 22 years. We got our first tortoise a little over 5 years ago. We have a hatchling Herman's, 0.0.2 approx. 7 month old Redfoots, 1.1 Russian's and a basketball sized Sulcata. The male Russian and Sulcata are rescues. I also have a small collection of snakes (kings corns and ball pythons) and lizards (alligator lizards, and geckos).

I think the Hermann's are my favorites. We had one for 5 years we got as a hatchling. He got sick and did not make it. He passed away the day after we got our sulcata (rescue). Since then we've picked up the 2 Redfoots, another Hermann's, and a pair of Russians. The Redfoots are my second favorites.
