New Tortoise, Need to know what type.

My turtle recently passed and to cheer me up, my dad got me a tortoise this time. neither me nor him know what kind it is though. He bought it as a surprise and I guess he just didn't pay any attention as to which one he got. He got him at PetSmart, and on the receipt it says "AST Tortoise. I've looked into it and have found no such luck with that name. I need help so I know his specific living needs.

AST Tortoise stands for assorted tortoise. The mix Greeks with Russians sometimes. Need a picture to ID but the care is the same. Look up Russian Tortoise and see if that is your guy. The only other ones I know they sell are red foots.

Coming from PetSmart, highly likely it is a Russian. Upload a picture and someone can positively identify.
