New tortoise owner not sure if Eastern or Western Hermann

Hi!

My name is Joy and I just recently adopted Penelope. I live in Central Florida. I am not sure if she is Eastern or Western Hermann. And recently we have had lots of rain. She has a water proof area in her outdoor enclosure but I wasn't sure if that's enough. Also the temps in her enclosure say 110 on one side (and it isn't in direct sun) and 95 on the cool side. It has been really hot out but not that hot. Any recommendations on the type/brand of thermometers. I got cheapy ones. Any advice is welcome. Currently growing dandelion, clover, lambs lettuce, and some garden violets for her to eat. I attached a few photos to show shell color if that helps ID. And half her enclosure. It is 8 by 3. I want to extend it. Working on that.

Hello, welcome to the forum!! Instead of the water dish you have, I suggest a terra cotta saucer.

From what I read online it says Western when the bottom looks like hers.
