Hey everyone! I just received my first tortoise, a marginated last week! He's a beauty! A little smaller then I expected!
It was an investment I've been wanting to do for awhile now and I finally just did it. My husband and son think he's cool. We love to watch him eat. I'm working out the kinks of his enclosure. He's inside but we do go outside for play! I have the basking light, UVB light and daily soaking! Any help or input would be greatly appreciated!

I'd change out those death bowls and use a plant saucer (recessed down into the substrate) for water and a flat stone or broken piece of cement for the feeder.

I believe we have! We call him/her Murray-! It first it was Merle but we changed it.

Very nice! I've changed my Russian's name multiple times. I finally settled on Maitai because I can't confirm the gender. Prior to buying my russian, I had two aquatic turtles named Marty and Kyle. This time I decided to try something a bit different.
