Thank you ladies and gentlemen

Hello and Welcome. It's good your learning first. Stick to the info and help you get from this forum. Most other info out there is outdated or wrong.
Get your enclosure set up and running before you get your shelled friend.

Hello and welcome! You've come to the right place. Did you check out the caresheets and beginner mistakes thread yet? It's a great place to start. Happy researching!

Tortoises are expensive pets. Do your research and don't be in a hurry to buy just any equipment.

Hi, and welcome!

I think you've been misinformed. . . Greek tortoises aren't necessarily a small species. I would put them in the medium-sized category.

What would you say is the smallest species of pet tout! When full grown??

Egyptian Tortoises stay small when fully grown, males barely reach 4" in size.

Another small tortoise is the Mount Edna Testudo hermanni hermanni (a subspecies of Western Hermann's).

The only Greek subspecies on the "small" side is the Testudo graeca nabeulensis (Tunisian).

So that gives you 3 to check out and compare.
