Hi I'm new to this forum I have a new horsefield tort he is 4 yrs old and I love him to bits! Only problem is he tries to climb up his tort table and keeps falling over on his back! Is this normal? My husbands building him a run on the wkend so he will beable to go in the garden aswell

Its good that your partner is going to build an outdoor area. Steppe tortoises do much better and are much happier outside.

One thing that will discourage the wall-climbing is to put a lip on the top of the habitat. But, yes, it is quite normal.
