Well I got the 10 year old male sulcata home the other day. He is eating well but has diarrhea, it looks alot like a baby humans poop. Also he has a sore under one of his ears. Its not bleeding or anything just noticeable. 20190218_165946.jpg

The sore looks like a minor scrape and should heal. I would just watch it. Could put antibiotic ointment on if you want. ...and if he will let you!

The poop is totally affected by diet. It can be from a large load of flagellates, but most commonly just diet related. If kept colder, that also seems to sometimes produce softer stools. Hopefully that hay he's eating will change that!

Congrats Dan! Have you started your grass pasture and opuntia stands yet??? :)

I noticed the Timothy hay in there. Its too stemmy for my liking. I prefer orchard grass hay or Bermuda.
