Hi,
My name is Annette 46 years young living near Walsall,West Mids, UK.
I have a human family along with 3 syrian hamsters, a dog and two goldfish!! I am a fulltime mum and I am also studying with the Open University.
No tortoise yet, doing lots of research , there seems to be a lot of different opinions in keeping torts! The one area I am particularly worried aout is the hibernation bit!
Still unsure which type to get as yet and to find a breeder and not shop bought one.

Welcome to the Tortoise Forum!!

I'm glad to see that you're researching before buying. And don't be worried about hibernation. You don't have to allow them to hibernate if you're willing to set up an indoor habitat for the winter.
