I recently bought my yearlings some Nutri grubs small in size. I believe today it came out in whole in my turtles poop. I've fed them 2 x before but only noticed this time around. Is this ok? Why Are they not digesting them.? Are they not a good live feeder?

Black soldier fly larvae is very high in calcium and is an excellent feeder source. Not sure why your box turtle swallowed it whole(little odd) there but these things are great. I prefer not to feed the larvae in the enclosure, if one gets away a black soldier fly will be flying around before you know it. I feed these to my hatchlings and yearlings in a separate Tupperware bowl to stop this from happening.

They love them!! I only put in a few at a time so I can watch what's getting eaten and that nothing is wondering away.. Ok maybe he was just too eager with a couple.. I'll keep an eye on it. I think I might worry too much.
