one eye closed

hey all

my marginated ones right eye keeps just being shut while the other is open. it started this morning. whenever i look at at him or pick him up he opens it and it looks healthy. no goo or liquid. just shut every now and then. should i be worried?

Your tort may just have some dirt in his eye or even a scratch.

Also give him a warm soak it will help if he got some dirt in his eye

yeah i'm giving two soaks a day. he's eating, but seems quite lathargic... both eyes are open though. he was eating this morning.

ok thanks. should i get him checked by a vet? or just bath it in warm water?

With it being only one eye, I would imagine it is more than likely an irritant.

the actual eye seems fine. not cloudy or anything. its everything round it that is a bit swollen. I'm going to boil some water and then let it cool and try and bath it.

Also do you know if this is any good? it says it has a Vitamin A C and E (A for swollen eyes)
