Yeah, their mom abandoned them, the plan was to bottle feed them until they were weaned and find homes for them. We decided to let the kids have one, but of course they both had a different favorite. So now we have two lol.AWWWWWWW! Adorable! Are they littermates?
You're lucky you managed to rehome two of them. Twice in my lifetime (fortunately a couple decades apart), we had a litter of four kittens that each bonded to a different human member of the household. So we really couldn't break up the band...Yeah, their mom abandoned them, the plan was to bottle feed them until they were weaned and find homes for them. There was four originally we rehomed two.
It was an experience bottle feeding four kittens to say the least lol
They're adorable! The one on the right has tortitude! Torties can be... memorable... in the attitude department..... In a good way.
My kids make them cat towers and such, but they normally sleep in the spare room. They had full run of the house at night until they started waking everyone up to play. Lol, now we put them to bed when the kids lay downThey look so adorable, did you managed to get them cat beds already?
It seems like these two will be good friends.
I bet that was a handful. You're lucky you managed to rehome two of them. Twice in my lifetime (fortunately a couple decades apart), we had a litter of four kittens that each bonded to a different human member of the household. So we really couldn't break up the band...
Yep. They started out a handful...each. That was seven years ago. Two boys and two girls. Now three of them are 15 lbs and up! The males have HUGE builds. The fourth (a female) is in the 6 lb range.I bet that was a handful.
