I love to take pictures of them, One is more shy than the other so I have only a few photos from the other one.

Oh yeah btw,

At the end of august or early september i'm going to have my Sternotherus minor peltifer captive bred! I'm soo excited, he hatched a couple of days ago!

There must be a reason why they evloved with a high "triangle" shell like that, Does anyone know why?

Oh my, it has such a beautiful patterned carapace and I love the pic of him/her stretching, and such big eyes. So I had to look it up an it is also called a Razorback Musk native to the USA. Thanks for sharing, we LOVE pics and such cute ones.

Maybe makes them harder to swallow?

Musks are among my most favorite turtles. I love razorbacks and loggerheads. I had 2 stinkpot babies hatch 3 weeks ago and, wow, are they cute!

Very cute. The Razorback Musk is one of my favs. If I have more space, I would like to keep 2 of them as well.
Other turtle I want to own is the Northern Diamondback
