getting my outdoor night box finished up this week to finally leave my 3 yo sullie outdoors overnight. she's out in the day time, but i'm still bringing her in at night. outdoor daytime temps are 60s-75 right now. outdoor night temps now are anywhere from 35 up to 55, but will get well below freezing this winter. i'm in missouri.

the night box is well insulated and will have freezer/refrigerator flaps on the door so she can go in and out in the daytime. i'll shut her up at night. i have a mini oil-filled heater in there which will be plenty to keep it warm.

i'm just wondering though what temps i should shoot for in the box?

i have a thermostat ordered that will be here this week and i will have to do some experimenting to get it at a steady temp. when she's inside at night, her closed chamber is around 75-80.

Over winter I keep my night boxes around 85 since they can't warm up on cold days. In summer I either unplug the boxes, or set the temp to 75ish, since it will be near 100 outside every day.
