Hi all,
I have been reading posts on here about overgrown beaks and how to trim them.
I was just wondering if my soon to be yearlings have overgrown beaks and if so are they too young to be trimmed. Thank you.

They look good . Feed them on a flat rock and don't cut up food to small . Their beaks will trim themselves .

An overgrown beak isn't something that normally happens. It is usually because of poor diet, bad lighting, etc. If you feed your tortoise a good diet with calcium, and make him bite off bits rather than cutting it up for him, you should never have to worry about it.

They look normal and healthy. How long have you had them?
