We have kept only two hatchlings over the years and this has been our little beast and a bit of a prized possession. His name is Zeus (looks to be male, but don't really know yet) and he caught our eye early on because of his triple dot pattern. He is just over 2 years old and has outpaced all others in growth. We sold his younger brother recently and decided it's time to sell Zeus as well - simply because we don't have the room for another huge tortoise. His shell pattern is spectacular, and smooth. He is just shy of 6" straight line and 30 ounces. We love this guy and hate to see him go. Again, don't know the sex - were just guessing. If anyone is looking for a remarkable animal let me know.
My tortoises are fed a diet of 80% orchard grass and timothy hey, with a mix of Mazuri, cactus pads, and other fresh veggies. I raised the parents from hatchlings and three years ago hatched my first eggs. I have just one breeding pair that hatch a small number a year.
I do my best to raise healthy, strong, (and big!) Pardalis Pardalis Leopards.
