So, I very recently got a baby Sulcata and I am still learning all the requirements for a healthy and happy life for my Tort. I know that grasses should be a big part of the Sulcata's diet so I purchased some timothy hay from a local pet store. Unfortunately I cannot get my Tort to eat the hay grass he just walks all over it and walks right past it. He seems to only like fresh grass and clovers that I can pick outside. How can I get my Sulcata to eat his hay? Also are the foods that I am feeding him right now good for him? Please help!

How young/big is your Sullie? They don't eat hay right away and when they do, it's best to chop it small and mix it with other foods to start

Thank you!
So if my Tort is not going to eat hay now then what should it be eating? I feed it mostly clovers but I worry that is not a good food source.
