Does anyone know why I can't get my pics clear on here?

They are very very cute Dee! Congrats!

Can I ask if thats a straight sand substrate your using? If so you might want to mix that with either coco fiber or topsoil. :)

Oh and your images are too large to post straight on to the thread. A good image size for posting is 800x600. :)

Anja, I did a mix of 50/50 top soil and sand, but I think that I may add some peat moss to help even more. I did my pics through tinypic.com and for some reason they get that funky look to them. I guess I have to invest in some type of software because I have a really awesome camera but don't know how to resize pics!

for people who care, i think 640x480 is the ideal photo size to accommodate most computer screens

Thanks Jacqui - It's scary starting with a new species you don't have. You research and research and hope you are selecting well. So far so good!

Scary yes, but also very exciting isn't it? Challenges make like much more fun and interesting don't you think?

Nice that a lot of what you have learned for one can be applied with just minor changes to another species. Once you have the solid foundation, it's easier to grow and spread.

The danger is getting too many and too fast and just spreading yourself too thin. You however are doing it the right way, your researching! I like it when people who are doing it the right way, seem to find some very beautiful and healthy animals.
