Clyde, King of the mountain! … Or King of the half log! P_20170204_140554_001.jpg P_20170204_151420_vHDR_On.jpg
I thought I'll post an update. Clyde is now 83 grams. 6 grams in a week. That is after we fed him once a day, and removed the leftovers after an hour.

And I finally found the perfect table for the terrarium, built it, and put the 55kg of tank on top of it. I should receive all the lamp fixtures, CHE, MVB, hygrometer, Repashy supplement, and tortoise block on Monday. :)P_20170202_081840_vHDR_On.jpg

Oh drats, I think you're right about the shipping. I almost forget Canada is another country!

Chia is another safe seed you'll be able to find at the nursery. I think they are a little slower to grow and need fairly good light but for $1.29 (American!), it can't hurt to try.
I stand corrected. Carolinapetsupply does ship Canada!! It turns out if the seeds are under 500 gram, the seller in US do not need to provide paper work to Canada Customs for the exportation of seeds. Therefore, I ordered their Russian seeds mix and the Italian dandelion seeds and today I just received them at home!!! :) Great news for the Canadian tortoises!!

Thought I will just post an update on Clydie's weight after 2 years... He is now two years and 2 months old, and weighs at 355g!!!
From 65g to 355g in two years, I'm not sure if this is even normal for a Russian tortoise... He even hibernated for 3 months...

I can't wait to learn how big she is this year!

Also, can you share what stand that is? I'm also looking at an atasuki tank and want to find an attractive stand for it. Your set-up looks great!
