PINK Fleshy organ coming outside from my tortoise's back

Hi all I'm new in this form

I live in India, state Uttar Pradesh city Lucknow. I own an Indian star tortoise since more than a year .. I am not really sure if its a male or a female. I saw a pink round organ coming out while it was excreting and went back in as soon as it was done..I am really worried please help me out!

I went to veterinary also, last week, he thinks it's a female but he is not sure as didn't handle the tortoise cases. He aslo suggested few medicines and giving her(my tortoise ) from last week but didn't see any improvement I am attaching a picture too.

As a diet I'm giving him
Cucumber (kheera)
Okra (bhindi/lady finger)
Giving twice or thrice a day!!

Please suggest anything else for him to feed

Please help I'm really worried

Hi, and welcome to the Forum!

It's pretty scary to see that for the first time. But, not to worry. Like Renee said, you have a male tortoise. When males reach a certain age, they discover their penis and have to experiment with it for a week or so. He'll eventually leave it alone.

Your little male tortoise needs some dietary improvements ASAP, but it certainly doesn't need medicine. Give these two threads a read through for the current and correct care info. Questions are welcome.

What medicine did the vet give you?
What symptoms are they supposed to improve? You don't mention anything other then the tortoise flashing you.
