My name is Pixie...
I found the Tortoise Forum while looking for some info on red-footed tortoises, of which I am suddenly an owner!!
My family rescued a 3-4 year old 'cherry-head' just yesterday...Her name is Tortuga!
She is a bi-ped, having unfortunately lost her two rear legs (presumable from poor care).
We are hoping to give her a happy home and restore her health.
As for other pets, we currently have a green anole, a Russian dwarf gerbil, 2 bunnies, and 2 dogs.
In the past I kept many reptiles and amphibians, including chameleons, frogs (you name it, I probably had one), snakes, and turtles.
Tortuga is my first experience with a tortoise, and I look forward to learning from and with everyone else here!!
