When you say it works well, how well do you mean? I don’t get the greatest luck with apps but often wonder if it’s because I mostly take pics of wild plants, often very scrappy weeds. Also I’m in a dry area which seems to make our plants less likely to be included but maybe I’ve just not used apps enough?

I don't think any of them are 100% accurate. Sometimes they work well, and sometimes they get stumped by some of the weeds I have around. So, I guess it depends on the weeds you're trying to identify.

I use this app as well!
Sometimes, to be sure I take 3-4 pictures at different angles.
I identified some common corn salad last weekend and have been adding it to my tort’s diet.

Well that is something. I’m familiar with this plant but have never seen “in the wild.” They sell it with cultivated lettuces here but it looks like this when it’s had a ton of water and is harvested young. I guess left to its own devices it gets tall enough to explain the “corn” part of the name.
