plantain question

Hello everyone!
After seeing a picture of plantain on this forum, I realized that I have been overlooking it when I go looking for dandelions. I picked some today, but I just had a question because I am always paranoid
Are the leaves fuzzy? Because the "plantain" I picked had fuzzy leaves. I couldn't tell by the pics I have seen online whether or not the leaves had fuzz.

No, not really. There is a similar plant that has fuzzy leaves, but plantain is mostly smooth.

That is absolutely broad leaf plantain. I guess I just have never thought it felt fuzzy before...

Second opinion: Yep that big one in the middle is plantain. I'm no plant expert, but I do know a few of them.

I never thought of it as fuzzy either.
