Hey everyone , I have two turtles one ybs 1 yr old and a res about 6 months. On Saturday I notices that my res was opening its mouth while basking, I've been watching him the last few days I've noticed him doing it a few times not very often, but still I am concerned. There was no wheezing sound, he is eating fine, no listing, no lopsided swimming that I have observed, and no mucus around mouth or nose. I raised heater temp to 89 I have both a UVB lamp and a UVA lamp . Please help tia

They do yawn alot! It's very common, stretching out the body under the warm light ... Then a big yawn!!

My ybs also yaws sometimes when he is enjoying the heat lamp. It's nothing to be concerned about.ImageUploadedByTortForum1380454391.916318.jpg
