Hello there,
Can my DT eat these? She doesn't care for them but they grow everywhere in my back yard. I live in southern california. She picks mallows and dandelions carefully out of all the weeds. She doesn't go for these but are they safe to have around?

This one grew black berries.

I'm thinking that the black-berry one is deadly nightshade. You deff. don't want that in your tortoise pen. The one right before that one might be lambsquarter. The second one might be purselane. Not sure about the first one, but I have it too. My tortoises don't eat it either.

oh. Okay. The black-berry one was just a freak one plan growing by my tomatoes. I pulled it out and have it separate in the front of the house now. It's so strong that it doesn't die even after it's just been soaked in water for 3 wks. I will toss it out.
Thanks, Yvonne.

Okay! A good reminder. Thanks, Jordan.
The tomotoes are in their own planters higher up but i'll make sure that she won't eat the leaves that fall...do you think they are bad even if they are all dried up? I'm only asking because she won't touch the wisteria leaves (also poisonous to tort) but she tries to eat the dried leaves of wisteria.
