Poop smells worse when eats collard greens?

I have a Speke’s Hinge back Tortoise (I’ve only had him for a month). I’m trying to give him a wider variety of foods. I got a list of foods safe for him when I got him.

Anyways, for the first few weeks his diet was mostly kale, carrots and occasionally squash or sweet potato for a treat. This past week I’ve added in collard greens. Also recently his poop has smelled stronger, and stinks up the whole room. I have to clean his terrarium immediately, and it smells worse than it did the first few weeks I had him.

Is this the collard greens or a coincidence?
