pop up ads here...

Lately Iv'e been seeing some scantilly dressed women, wanting dates? pop up here.... I know in the past, I've had cage links pop up, but I had actually searched for cages.. I have Not searched dating sites.. and hoping this isn't a new thing...
Anyone else getting that? I know some might not mind ;-) but there are some youngens here as well..

Are you talking actual pop ups? or the banner ads on the pages? To the best of my knowledge TFO does not use pop ups.

We do not use ANY popup ads whatsoever. If you are getting popup ads while viewing TFO, chances are your browser has Spyware or Malware...

its the banner ads..... the ones that show up at the top or inbetween posts... this one has a water one...

Most of the ads that I see are the result of what I've ever GOOGLE'd for. But because I read this thread about the "ladies" looking for men, I'm now getting that ad too. I think its a "history" thing and a GOOGLE thing. For instance, if you click on a link in a post that is for Waterland tubs and the link takes you to a web site, then you'll start getting a lot of ads for Waterland tubs or turtle tubs, etc. If you were to clear your computer's history, you can start fresh.

lol, I'm getting that too. I was afraid to say anything cause I thought people might think I was searching for dates...

yes, that is the one.. its a banner ad, not pop up.. its just there..
The gardener thread has a garden ad.. I see a lot that have somethingto do with a thread.. but this is new.. and everywhere.. I know it isnt controlled by Josh. And I havent goggled dating sites.. so wasn't sure how popular it was here..
the one picture appears to be taken in a Hotel room... double beds.. so not just dating... ;-)

I saw it too and my kids walked up. I wasn't happy. I just scrolled down real quick. They are 6 & 8. I don't see them anymore.
