Jacqui has started a couple of very nice threads that are posted at the top of the enclosure section - one for indoor habitats and one for outdoor habitats. She has gathered pictures of members' habitats and placed them all together in these two threads.

I love the variety of ideas everyone comes up with for outdoor enclosures. Very nice ones you all posted up and the natural ones can be some of the easy ones to maintain :)
beautiful torts you all shared as well!

I like the curved site barrier. How well has it worked?
Thank you. Its working a treat so far... he's getting lots of exercise going around it anyway. The whole enclosure is a pretty bare there. Ive since planted lots of campanulas, forget me nots, violas, various carex, various geranium, astilbe. Dumped a large amount of soil in the curved bend behind the sight barrier for extra digging. Thinking im going to plant grass/clover/dichondra on the nearside. He never uses the flower pot for shade but instead digs in behind it under the astilbe...go figure!

Perhaps the pot is too open for a secure feeling or it gets/stays too warm.

My enclosure left to right.
It has controls for the misting system and to fill/flush the water pools. Also two exterior sleeping boxes that are accessible from the inside and are heated. They give extra square footage this way.
The heaters are on timers, but are only needed a few days out of the whole year.
